Team Fundraising

It’s a simple fact that money is what it takes to enable the National MS Society to provide its tremendous range of services to the MS community. The Georgia Chapter helps the thousands of Georgians impacted by MS through providing comprehensive support services and educational programs, and raising funds locally to support the Society’s research initiatives. Their mission is to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. Their vision is that people with MS and their families will live their lives to the fullest capability for the enrichment of society and for their own personal fulfillment. The MS Society hosts a number of public events every year to raise the funds they require. MS United chooses to participate in the Bike MS events, with one in Savannah in May and the other near Atlanta in September.

Every year we challenge ourselves to exceed a fundraising goal. It’s a bit of a fun game for us, really, to see how much further we can push the bar every year. For many consecutive years, our team has been one of the top fundraising teams in the state. In 2007 we were the third highest, only to come behind two major, giant corporate teams. We take pride in our accomplishments, and we have the numbers to prove it!
