Since 1999, MS United has evolved into a congregation of individuals who participate in the Bike MS events for various reasons. Some have their own personal or direct contact with Multiple Sclerosis, and some simply support the efforts of their teammates.
There are many diverse reasons that we ride in support of the MS community, so each member has an individual story and inspiration that compels them to make a difference. Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and friends are all chapters in these stories.
As a team, we are united in the fight against MS. Our fundamental goal is to raise awareness and educate others about MS. Our annual mission is to raise funds required by the National MS Society to support direct-assistance programs, aid research and to find an ultimate cure.
Each year, we challenge ourselves to meet and exceed our goals to the best of our abilities. For the 2009 Bike MS Atlanta event, we will have at least 50 participating riders, and we will raise over $50,000.
To do make this happen, we need you to join us. The event is a blast, and the experience of being a member of our team is something that you’ll tell your friends about. And based upon your fundraising success, you may be able to enjoy some special rewards for your efforts, thanks to our sponsors.
